PLYMOUTH MUSIC ZONE: Music Making a Difference

Youth Music Week - Music is Power - 09/11/2009

This year's Youth Music Week is extra special because, just like PMZ, Youth Music is also celebrating its 10th anniversary. Plymouth Music Zone is one of 21 so called 'Youth Music Action Zones' throughout the whole country that receive funding from Youth Music to deliver many of our free or subsidised activities. Youth Music Week is about everyone celebrating the achievements of the young people we work with. This year's message is MUSIC IS POWER so watch out for PMZ because we'll be out and about at various events giving interactive workshops and handing out something called a 'PMZ Power Pass'. Get yourself a PMZ Power Pass and it'll give you access to many of our after school activities. Youth Music Week is in the week beginning Nov 9th and we'll be kicking it off by launching the new Plymouth Music Forum here at Plymouth Music Zone on Nov 10th.
