Free after school clubs - 06/07/2010
We're searching for young people of all ages with passion who want to be 'PMZers' and join our free after school music clubs. There's everything from Big Bash to StreetBeatz. If you want to know more why not download the flyer in the DOWNLOAD section of this website. And don't forget we also have a special programme of workshops for residents in Devonport. Give us a call to find out more and to enrol. Bring a friend. But please note places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. Come and have some fun.

Jobs at Plymouth Music Zone! - 28/06/2010
Closing dates are approaching for the 5 jobs up for grabs at Plymouth Music Zone. The top job of Executive Director is now vacant as the lovely ex director Ben Ballard goes off to pastures new after a stonking 6 years at the project. Plus the yearly recruitment drive for apprentices is kicking off. 2 Music Leader Apprenticeships are on offer this year and for the first time ever we will be hiring a Marketing Apprentice to work alongside the Development Director to really target young people. And last, but definitely not least, is the post of cleaner. Our last cleaner was also a theatre director and has gone off to London to work in the West End! Sing Up Training Events in Devon - 30/04/2010
Looking for training events in Devon to improve how you teach singing? Want to find out what's happening with the Sing Up programme in Devon and how far it's come? The latest issue of the Devon Sing Up Bulletin is now available in the DOWNLOAD section of this website in the Sing Up Information area. It's jampacked full of free or subsidised CPD events for teachers and all those involved with singing with primary school children or in the community. 17 pages worth so there's sure to be something for everyone!. Plymouth Music Forum - 02/02/2010
The new Plymouth Music Forum kicks off at Plymouth Music Zone finally connecting it up to the wider South West music sector. PMZ's development director, Debbie Geraghty, has been invited to chair the new forum and bring together people from all corners of the music sector. The Plymouth Music Forum will be an important voice in pushing forward a strong vision for music in the city. The forum will be looking to get everyone's feedback in the months ahead so watch this space for what happens next...
