- Federation of Music Services (FMS)
- The FMS was set up in 1996 to offer information, expertise and advice to Music Services. Around 150 Music Services are already members representing over 500,000 pupils and 10,000 teachers.
- Live Music Now
- Live Music Now specialises in organising performances and workshops in outreach settings, delivered by specially trained, young professional musicians. PMZ is currently delivering a 2 year programme of Live Music Now activities in schools across Plymouth.

- The Music Manifesto is a campaign for improvements in music education with the express aim to create more music for more people. It has a growing membership of more than 500 signatories from across the voluntary and community sectors, music education and the music industry.

- Dance South West is a consortium of dance agencies working together to encourage more people to make, watch and take part in dance. Dance South West is a National Dance Agency funded by Arts Council England.
- Freesound FM 106.6
- Now in its second year Freesound 106.6FM provides a platform for the creativity of Plymouth. Local musicians, artists, poets and playwrights fill the daytime programme with their creative output whilst the evening airwaves resonate with an eclectic mix of the best and rarest music from every genre, provided by the city's DJs. This year’s broadcasts include the debut of PMZ's 'Static Attic' hosted by members of TEMPO; PMZ's Young Person's Forum!
