Booking a Session
Chopsticks to cellos - whatever tickles your musical fancy. Plymouth Music Zone prides itself on its versatility and ability to deliver sessions you'll remember. PMZ can work with groups of up to 80 people, depending on the type of activity. We also deliver workshops accessible to everyone - regardless of level of musical ability. We work with young people up to the age of 18 and also offer training, INSET and team-building events for adults.
WHAT CAN I BOOK? Sessions can be booked as one-off events for a whole or half-day or, alternatively, as an ongoing programme of work. We're also able to tailor workshops to suit your needs.
COST? Prices vary depending on the size of group and the number of Music Leaders required. All instruments and equipment are supplied by PMZ.
QUALITY? All our Music Leaders are highly skilled and dedicated to receiving regular training so they deliver workshops that are highly engaging, creative, fun and interactive. Music Leaders also have up-to-date CRB checks and follow the highest standards of professionalism.

Samba Squad: sizzle on down with percussion and songs from Brazil and explore this music set within a wider cultural context
Drum Zone: discover pulsating West African percussion, songs and magical story telling where the only limit is your imagination
Beats Per Minute: cutting edge music technology workshops where anything is possible (ideally suited to smaller groups and special needs settings, 8 max)
The Music Maker: work with a PMZ musician/composer to help breathe musical life into your ideas - almost any theme, any instrument, any time, any place, anywhere!
Sing the World: how about going on a globe trotting vocal adventure exploring songs from all corners of the planet...stick a pin on an atlas and see how it sounds!
Tiny Tunes: Never too early to start with our toe tapping toddler music sessions for young ones up to the age of 4 - parents and carers are most welcome
Rhythm and Song: Special Needs music workshops using a wide range of accessible instruments, singing and vocal work
