Funders & Sponsors
PMZ would like to extend a massive thank you to the following funders and sponsors who make this work possible:

Youth Music
Youth Music is a UK-wide charity set up in 1999 to provide high quality and diverse music-making opportunities for children and young people up to the age of 18. It targets those young people living in areas of social and economic need who might otherwise lack opportunity and predominantly supports activities which are held outside school hours. Youth Music is our main funder.

Space for Sport and Arts
PMZ's purpose-built music education centre was built thanks to money from Space for Sport and Arts - and we are one of four SSA facilities in the city. They've also paid for a 2 year revenue programme, through Sport England, to encourage people to use the buildings and do more sport and arts...check out the Space for Sport and Arts page to see what's available.

Devonport Regeneration Community Partnership
DRCP has been given over 49 million pounds to regenerate the Devonport area as part of the government's New Deal for Communities Programme. PMZ has been successful with a bespoke bid for funding called the "Devonport Legacy - Music Making a Difference." This involves £220,000 over 2 years for a programme of free activities within Devonport and a capital element for vital equipment and a brand new much needed van. DRCP has also very kindly supported us by paying for new CCTV cameras for our music education centre on the Brickfields site. We also received funding for new staging and seating as well as an outdoor classroom that's helped transform the facilities.

Excellence Cluster
The "Excellence Cluster" is a group of 26 schools in Plymouth. It's given Plymouth Music Zone special funding to step up music provision in all its member schools. So PMZ's now delivering an exciting programme of music in schools across the city over the next 2 years.

Anonymous Benefactor
We've received a number of donations from an anonymous benefactor whose identity can never be revealed...The money from this secret admirer allowed us to really establish ourselves in the early days. A recent donation is now paying for our LiveMusicNow! programme. This aims to get young people really excited about music and all its possibilities. It means we can send inspiring professional musicians into schools throughout the city over the next 2 years.
