Fundraise

It takes all types to fundraise - and you don't need a pink flowery swimming cap or rippling muscly legs to succeed either. The best fundraising ideas come from people who believe in making a difference - because that's the main idea behind it all - and that's great in itself. So, whatever you want to do and however you want to do it - if it raises money to help us use music to change lives then you're hitting the right note. So thank you.

Getting Sponsorship on-line -

We've teamed up with virginmoneygiving.com - a fundraising website where they've made it easy to set up your own fundraising page and help us receive more of the money you raise.  Virgin Money Giving is 100% not for profit, which means more of your donations come to us to help those who need it most.

Feel free to click the Virgin page below as a simple way of setting up your own fundraising page that makes it really easy to collect money - just choose the 'Start Fundraising' option and pick the best option for you...

Getting sponsorship the good old-fashioned way - on a piece of paper! -

You could of course also use any other method you may be more familiar with, especially if you're a seasoned fundraiser. Click here if you'd rather use our PMZ Sponsorship form to collect sponsors for your challenge.  You can download and print off as many as you need!

The most important thing to know is that any donations, no matter how small, could help us is so many ways including:
  • £5 could pay for a disabled child to experience music in a multi-sensory room for the first time
  • £10 could go towards a music session for the elderly living with dementia in a residential home
  • £20 could contribute to a music workshop in a nursery for babies and toddlers from a troubled family
  • £75 could provide a music session for 30 adults with learning disabilities
  • £750 could buy 10 weeks of music workshops for children in care
  • £2000 could help train 10 unemployed adults to develop the confidence and skills to return to work

Just give us a call for a chat on 01752 213690 if you would like to find out more or come and visit us before you start your fabulous fundraising efforts - and remember to let us know how you get on so we can add you to PMZ's Wall of Fundraising Fame...

PMZ's Wall of Fundraising Fame...

Plymouth Superhero Team is a group of fun-loving (and music-loving) individuals from Plymouth businesses all getting together to fundraise as part of their Superhero Tournament in aid of PMZ over 12 months.  They've set themselves 12 wild and wonderful challenges over the year, including trying not to shoot each other in an archery competition, a night at the casino and as if that wasn't enough they've also been doing some physically taxing craziness where they bounced off trampolines and battled each other on the beams to name just a little of what they've been up to.  As if this marvellous team isn't satisfied with their 12 challenges alone they're now planning a special black tie event for later this year!  Watch this space for an update on what that will entail after all the plans have been made and we've got further details to bring you.  Thank you from PMZ to this crazy crowd who wanted to help PMZ because they love music and totally see what a difference it can make to people's lives.
