Plymouth Music Zone can be commissioned for a diverse range of projects and events. People often buy in our services when they feel they need that added PMZ ingredient, that certain musical something. This could involve anything from providing consultancy, co-creating a project with you or developing and delivering a project tailored to your own brief. PMZ is known for its innovative flair so be prepared for the fact that anything could happen...  

Examples of commissioned work have included:

  • creating a multi-sensory music resource in partnership with Special Schools throughout Plymouth. The Zoobiedoo resource was then nominated for an Innovator of the Year Award in the local business awards
  • creating original music for a play performed at the Drum Theatre in Plymouth
  • developing an audio-visual project with young people that resulted in the creation of a 'Digital Hotdog Stand'
  • working on a Science and engineering task with young people to help design equipment for disabled children with the idea of improving their lives
  • developing a public speaking training course to empower help young ambassadors working with the Youth Service
  • creating music for the cross arts The World At Your Feet Project about migration  
  • music for film composition project using old black and white footage form World War 2
  • working with young people to create an original track and film that was shown in Refugee Week
  • producing relaxation tapes for pregnant mothers
  • producing promotional videos to advance the WIRED cross arts consortium in Plymouth
