A warm Plymouth Music Zone hello and thank you again to everyone who has been keeping in touch, working with and supporting us over the last couple of months.

As we are sure you will all understand, in light of the ongoing concerns around the Omicron Variant and in line with current governmental advice PMZ will be stepping up some of its precautions and updating its guidelines around safe working during the pandemic. These changes will include the following:

  • Mask/face coverings – Everyone attending PMZ must wear a face covering. PMZ would like to make it clear that we continue to recognise that there are some circumstances where people may not be able to wear a face covering or mask. We ask everyone attending PMZ to please be respectful of these situations. Some people are less able to wear face coverings and the reasons for this may not always be visible.
  • Workshops are continuing to take place. However we kindly request that no one attends PMZ unannounced. If you need to drop in see any of the PMZ team for any reason please contact the office first on 01752 213690 to discuss your visit.
  • PMZ will continue to operate safe social distancing and hygiene measure in all our workshops and around our building. PMZ recommends a distance of two metres (two arm’s length) and will continue to offer seating and tables in workshops to assist with accessibility and this distancing.
  • Staffing – PMZ will be working on reducing unnecessary visits from staff and limiting numbers of us around the building. We will be continuing to encourage and support those of us who can to work from home.
We will continue to keep PMZ’s communication lines clear and strong during this time our core hours will remain 9.30 – 5.30pm and in the run up to the holidays we will continue to staff our building and remain contactable.

Over the holidays and New Year PMZ staff will be taking a break for two weeks from Tuesday 21 December to Tuesday 4 January. During this time PMZ will be closed but please feel free to contact us by email or social media. Please be aware though that you will have to wait for a reply and we will respond as soon as possible when we return in the New Year.

Please refer PMZ full guidelines below for all other reassurances around what we are doing to keep people safe and thank you to everyone for continuing to be so careful and considerate whilst working with us here at PMZ.
