Plymouth Music Zone is beyond excited to bring you ‘PMZ’s Summer Singalong’ – at the Devonport Park bandstand on Friday 15th July 2022!
Between 10.30am and Midday, we’ll bring together many of our wonderful PMZ participants, especially those from our older person settings and groups, for a morning of singalong songs in the sunshine (we have put in an order for good weather!)
It’s been 3 years since our last music event at the bandstand, and we simply cannot wait to get everyone together again. You’re very welcome to pop along and sing some songs with us at this free community event!

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast leading up to the day. In the event of the forecast of an obviously rainy day, we will unfortunately have to cancel the event – nobody really wants to be singing in the rain, do they?! Please keep an eye on this webpage, or PMZ’s Facebook and Twitter for updates. If you’re coming along, please check the weather forecast so you’re prepared to either cover up in the sunshine, or keep warm if it’s cloudy. It would be a good idea to bring some water if it’s hot.
The Devonport Park bandstand is adjacent to the Park Pavilion Café, so refreshments and something to eat are close by, as well as access to toilets. There will be a limited amount of seating provided but we will have to prioritise seating for those who need it the most, so you might want to bring your own camping chair or be happy to stand – and dance!
Getting there and parking
The bandstand is at the heart of Devonport Park and best accessed on foot. There are parking spaces around the perimeter of the park with a short walk to the bandstand. Vehicles can access the park for dropping off only, directly behind the bandstand. For this you can access the park from Fore Street, just opposite the Green Ark Children’s Centre. Please drive very slowly through the park.
