We’re very excited to introduce you to our newest trustee, Bryony Rawson! Bryony is the founder and driving force behind BryteSpark Communication (www.brytesparkcomms.co.uk), a freelance marketing, communications and design agency.
Prior to this, Bryony spent a decade in the live music industry, leading marketing and communications for Plymouth Pavilions and delivering campaigns for events at venues such as Eden Sessions, Exeter Westpoint, Plymouth Argyle and MTV Crashes on Plymouth Hoe.
After leaving the industry to pursue work in the third sector, Bryony went on to hold roles with several charities, including Head of Communications at Age UK Plymouth. She now blends her commercial experience with her passion for social impact through her work with BryteSpark and in her role as a charity trustee.
On becoming a trustee for PMZ, Bryony says “I’m thrilled to be joining the Board of Trustees at Plymouth Music Zone. I’ve been fortunate to work with some brilliant charities in recent years and to now align as a trustee. Music has always been a big part of my life and PMZ’s work bringing connection, confidence and joy to communities is something I’m proud to support.
It has been a tough time for the third sector and PMZ has felt that as much as anyone. When a charity is in transition and looking to its future, that is when trustees can make the biggest difference, bringing skills that help shape its direction and steward its future.
